Water Damage in a Mount Kisco Basement Condo Unit

The water leaked from a supply line and soaked into the baseboard trims and worked down into the concrete floor. This Mount Kisco condo received prompt service from our SERVPRO crew upon notification from the property manager. Though the Before Photo appears to be free of water loss issues, the water linoleum floor covering lost its adhesion and was loosely floating on top of the concrete pad. The After Photo is our work in progress. We are removing the non-salvageable vinyl covering to start the drying process by setting up air movers and dehumidifiers. The drying goals will be achieved in time as we monitor the development with our advanced devices. Our fast action mitigated the damage and avoided any demolition of the trim or wallboards.
