Laurie Maffeo

Laurie (Art) wears many hats being the Owner's Assistant, Marketing Assistant, and Accounts Receivable at SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County since December 2014. She studied at Central Connecticut State University, where she majored in Media Arts.  Her biggest asset is her friendly, organized and efficient work ethic. Her Go-Getter mentality is exactly how she plans to reach her goals of increasing revenue & morale here at SERVPRO.  In her free time, Laurie enjoys painting, refinishing furniture, and spending time with her family.  “Tomorrow belongs to those who can hear it coming.” -David Bowie 

John Crosby

John has been a Equipment Supervisor at SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County since Augustl 2022. He started his career in construction and since worked his way to being certified at In House Water Specialist Training, Blood Pathogen and Pack & Moving here at SERVPRO. John is a very motivated member of our crew with goals to one day work in our Marketing Department. Outside of work John is a song writer/ musician. Jerry Kotlarz

Jerry has been the outstanding Office Controller at SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County, dating back to September 2008. Before commencing his journey here at SERVPRO, Jerry was involved in Automotive Finance Management. He is a magnet for new technologies and is always striving for improvements and simplifications in our business approach. Jerry's Technical understanding and experiences provide an extensive foundation for improvement in our performance. "If you cant' find the time to do it right the first time... how will you find the time to do it again?" 

Nick Mousch

Nick joined SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County in November 2015 and has developed his talents into becoming the Restoration Operations Manager. He has excellent communication skills with our team and our clients. Nick drives a forklift and is accredited by the IICRC--Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification as a WRT water restoration and AMRT applied microbial remediation technician. He is ServSafe and DryBook trained and utilizes Xactimate software. Nick attempts to learn as much as he can to help others, including his fellow workers at SERVPRO. He enjoys time with friends, stand-up comedy, good food, and a video or board game challenge. Peter Demarco

Peter, Marketing Manger at SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County since January 2023, provides great organizational skills. His broad experience working with the public covers 30 years of sales in the home furnishings industry. Peter is an expert with the Xactimate software program crucial for work estimates and documentation. Every day brings new challenges and the opportunity to assist our neighbors during traumatic times provides great satisfaction. Peter likes to cook, and his favorite quote, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts," is from Winston Churchhill.

Jim Book

Jim is SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County's newest member of our Marketing and Sales Development team. Following matriculation from Duke University, he pursued a thirty-year career in the financial services industry. His goal is to continue our SERVPRO promise of providing our customers and clients with one point of contact during the restoration service. Our affiliation with Connecticut Reconstruction Services ensures our commitment. A genuine emotion drives our team to help others in our communities. Jim loves to be part of this culture as we strive to be the first click or call from those needing restoration help.

Jim, his wife, and children have relocated back home to Fairfield County, CT, from the Wilton area. He has been a dedicated high school and youth coach and has served numerous years on the Darien Youth Lacrosse and the Darien Junior Football League boards. Currently, he coaches with the regional Express North Lacrosse Club, drawing players from Westchester County, NY, through Fairfield County, CT. Jim manages time to help his wife with the horse farm even as he expands our brand.

Kristin Kline

Kristin has been the Operations Manager at SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County since Dec. 2018. She began her career at our company in 2009 as a receptionist and has steadily moved up the ladder. Kristin has sharpened her office skills and knowledge of the cleanup and restoration industry. Her progress has been impressive and steady:

 Kristin is proficient in Xactimate software and standard office software programs. She is keen on learning from her team members as she broadens her perspective. Kristin drives to make all around her more successful, including herself.

When not directing the office or the field, Kristin has many hobbies and talents that keep her occupied:

Briana Pascale

SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County is excited to have Briana join our team as a customer service rep in November 2021. Her car dealership experience in the service department provides an excellent backdrop for her current position with our team. She fits in with our office staff and communicates well with our production crew, and most importantly, our customers and call-ins. Briana, when at home, enjoys using her nail kit for polishing and manicuring for her friends and herself. She has a treasured quote, "Our greatest glory is not in never falling but rising every time we fall."

Derek Schachter

Derek has been a member of SERVPRO of Northern Westchester County since August 2018 and holds the dual roles of Compliance Specialist and Job File Coordinator. Derek has earned the IICRC certification as a water damage restoration technician. He contributes to and enjoys the fair and organized management environment. Derek graduated from Boston University and enjoys watching television, movies, and cooking. He listens to music and also collects vinyl records. His favorite motivation quote is from Gandi--"Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Kevin Barry

Kevin Barry has been an invaluable part of SERVPRO since May 2009 (with SERVPRO Team Randolph since 2024), bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as Project Manager. Before joining SERVPRO, Kevin served as a network administrator at LVI, honing his technical skills and developing a strong foundation in problem-solving.

Kevin’s expertise is evident in his extensive list of certifications and special trainings. He is qualified as a Lead Inspector, Mold Assessor, Asbestos Inspector, House Inspector, and holds multiple IICRC certifications, including Water Damage Restoration Technician (WTR), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Applied Microbial Remediation (AMR), Biohazard Recovery, and Fire & Smoke Restoration. This impressive array of qualifications has made him a trusted leader in the industry.

Kevin's favorite aspect of working for SERVPRO is the teamwork—he thrives on collaboration and takes pride in the collective efforts of his colleagues. His ambitious goals include expanding the company and its brand, reflecting his commitment to SERVPRO’s growth and success.

Outside of work, Kevin’s talents and passions shine just as brightly. He is a dedicated volunteer firefighter, exemplifying his drive to serve his community. He also enjoys sports and has a knack for fixing things, showcasing his versatility and hands-on approach to life.

Dan Peterson

Since joining SERVPRO in 2024 as a Production Manager, Dan Peterson has leveraged his diverse background in the fitness industry and textile restoration to provide exceptional service in restoration projects. He holds multiple IICRC certifications, equipping him with the advanced skills needed to tackle restoration challenges with precision and care.

Dan is passionate about helping people in unique ways every day, and his goal is to continue growing within SERVPRO, making an even greater impact on the team and community.
